A big thank you to Mrs Sharp, for putting in a few extra hours to help us make Gingerbread Houses for Christmas. The children had fun and enjoyed having their face put on a cartoon character. Also, a big thank you to Mrs. Young, Mrs. Clowdus, and Mrs. Eggers for providing candy and help to complete the Gingerbread Houses and a big THANK YOU to the parents that provided treats for the party, they were delicious.
We are off to a great New Year. I had the children look at their classroom goal and set a new goal if needed and make a plan for each of them to improve this next few months. It is important that your child reads at home to continue to increase in reading fluency and to earn the points needed to meet their A.R. goal.
